Somewhat Predictable
I caught this movie on the Lifetime Movie Network.
Many of these movies are ok to watch once but I doubt if you'll ever go back and watch them again.
For one thing the chances that these plots could ever happen in real life is about one in 84 billion.
She has a locket that her murdered aunt gave her that contains a secret key that unlocks a mysterious room which contains a vcr that is still working after decades. Now what do you think the chances are that an old house would have a secret room with a two way mirror and a hidden video camera ? Actually they never tell you why it was even there in the first place.
And just by some 'coincidence' one of the few people on earth who would have known that the locket contained a key happened to be the contractor who was working on her house. He had somehow seen a similar locket in his travels. Anyway the key comes in handy at the end for more than just unlocking the secret room.
Her...
Ha! This is why there isn't a huge resale market for vintage jewelry.
The best thing about this Canadian looking lifetime movie is Kristy Swanson. Her suspicious looking friends and beaux pique one's interest about who bears her ill will. She is divorcing a control freak with muscles and has a strange nebbishy therapist uncle type as her confidante in addition to a Canadian mild mannered contractor and a redheaded friend (or is she?)
I enjoyed watching this movie. It was easy. I hated the flashbacks but ultimately the story came through as well as Kristy Swanson's typical determination.
Very Good
It must be good because I still can recall some of the scenes in the movie. Kristy looked mature though since her role in Duffy, the Vampire Slayer.
